One home, one shared plan.
Rootenza started the way a lot of good things do — out of need. Our founder, April, was a busy parent running a full household: the calendar, the meals, the grocery runs, the chores, the endless mental list of who needs what and when. She tried every app out there, and they were all built for someone else — a single person’s to-do list, or a kid’s chore chart. Nothing was built for the way a whole household actually runs.
So she built the one she wished existed, and ran her own home on it every day until it was right. That’s Rootenza.
In most homes, the whole operation lives in one person’s memory. It works — right up until one ball gets dropped. Rootenza gives your household one shared place where the plan lives, so it’s out of your head and in front of everyone: the family calendar, meals, recipes, lists, chores, and your important contacts — all in one calm place.
