These Terms govern your use of Rootenza, a household-management app provided by Rootenza LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Rootenza.

Your account & household

You’re responsible for your account, for keeping your password secure, and for the people you invite into your household. You agree to provide accurate information and to let us know if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable use

Please use Rootenza lawfully and respectfully. Don’t misuse the service, attempt to break or bypass its security, or use it to harm others.

Subscriptions & billing

• Rootenza is offered at $9.99 per month or $99 per year, covering your whole household.
• New accounts include a two-week free trial. If you don’t cancel before it ends, your subscription begins and your payment method is charged.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime from your account. When you cancel, your plan stays active through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
• Payments are non-refundable. We don’t provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused features. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges, and you keep access through the end of your current paid period.
• Prices may change in the future; we’ll give you notice before any change affects you.

Your content

The information you add to Rootenza is yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and display it so we can operate the service for you. You can export your data anytime.

Ending the service

You can stop using Rootenza at any time. We may suspend or end access for accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the service.

Disclaimers & liability

Rootenza is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it reliable but can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, Rootenza LLC isn’t liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the date above, and continued use of Rootenza means you accept the updated Terms.
